Guards of the Bolognese tradition

These are the guard positions used in the Bolognese tradition of swordsmanship. These images show a unified division of the guards, taken from Achille Marozzo and the Anonimo Bolognese, that I use in teaching. Different Bolognese source texts lay the guards out with some variation.
