Terms of Service
Effective date: May 25, 2026
By using Marozzo ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you disagree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
The Service is intended for adults. By using the Service you represent that you are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly provide the Service to minors, and we do not verify age; if we become aware that an account belongs to a minor, we may terminate it.
2. Account
You are responsible for all activity under your account. Do not share your credentials. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.
Your Marozzo account may also be used to authenticate you on related Falcata services through a single sign-on. Signing out may end your session across those services.
3. Subscriptions & Billing
Memberships are billed automatically via Stripe and renew until cancelled. Cancel anytime via your billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period, after which your account reverts to free access. No prorated refunds.
Right of withdrawal: EU consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal. By requesting immediate access to content at purchase, you expressly waive this right once content delivery begins. Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
Current pricing is shown at checkout. For active subscriptions, price changes will be communicated before the next renewal period. If you do not wish to accept the new price, you may cancel before the change takes effect.
4. Permitted Use
Your membership is personal and non-transferable. You may not share credentials, download or redistribute content, scrape the Service, use it for any unlawful purpose, or use any content to train AI models or automated systems.
Where the Service offers AI features (such as chat), you may not attempt to bypass, manipulate, or extract the underlying system prompts, safety instructions, or model configuration, and you may not use automated means or multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits, rate limits, or budget caps. We may apply rate limits, quotas, or other usage controls to AI features at our discretion.
5. Physical Activity
Marozzo provides historical martial arts and fencing instruction. Physical training carries inherent risk of injury — you are solely responsible for how you train and whether it is appropriate for your fitness level. If you have any health conditions that may be affected by physical activity, consult a physician before training. We are not liable for any injury arising from your physical activity. This does not affect any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
6. AI Features
The Service may include AI-assisted features such as chat. AI outputs are generated automatically and may be incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated. They are provided for general information only and are not a substitute for qualified instruction, medical advice, or independent judgement — particularly in relation to physical training (see Section 5). You are responsible for how you act on any AI output.
To protect the Service and other users, inputs to AI features may be automatically inspected for abuse, prompt injection, and policy violations, and may be logged for security and moderation purposes as described in our Privacy Policy. Usage may be subject to rate limits and budget caps, which may change without notice.
7. Your Content
You retain ownership of comments and other content you post, but grant us a royalty-free license to display it on the Service. You are responsible for ensuring your content is lawful. We may remove content at our discretion.
8. Intellectual Property
All Service content is owned by or licensed to Marozzo and protected by copyright. These Terms grant no ownership rights to any content.
9. Programmatic Access (API, MCP, CLI)
We may offer programmatic access to the Service through public APIs, an MCP server, and command-line tools. Such access is governed by these Terms. Access tokens (including OAuth tokens and personal access tokens) are credentials under Section 2 — keep them confidential and revoke them if compromised.
Content returned through programmatic interfaces remains subject to Sections 4 and 8: no redistribution, no use to train AI models or automated systems, and no circumvention of access controls or usage limits. We may apply rate limits and quotas to programmatic access, and may suspend or revoke access for abuse, excessive load, or breach of these Terms, independently of any action on your underlying account.
10. Liability
The Service is provided in good faith without warranties of uninterrupted or error-free access. Our liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the preceding 12 months. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Statutory consumer rights under applicable EU and Finnish consumer protection legislation are unaffected.
11. Privacy
We process personal data per our Privacy Policy and GDPR.
12. Termination
We may issue warnings, apply temporary suspensions, restrict access to specific features (including AI features and programmatic access), or terminate your account in response to breach of these Terms or abuse of the Service. Some enforcement actions may be applied automatically by our security systems in response to detected abuse. You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings. If you have an active subscription, you must cancel it before account deletion can proceed. Access ends immediately upon deletion, and your data is removed as described in our Privacy Policy.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app with at least 14 days' notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
14. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by Finnish law. Disputes may be brought before the Tavastia Proper District Court. EU consumers may also contact the Finnish Consumer Disputes Board (kuluttajariitalautakunta.fi(opens in a new tab)) or find alternative dispute resolution bodies at consumer-redress.ec.europa.eu(opens in a new tab).
